I need to finish out the series about makeup changing colors on the skin and what it means. We discussed makeup going orange in a blog post and going grey in a short video. Now let’s address the other issue, which is makeup turning pink.

Often a makeup will look nice on the skin when first swatched or applied, and then it gets a Pepto-Bismal kind of vibe, just a dull pink-to-gray tone that doesn’t match the skin. Does this mean that the product is oxidizing on your face? Are you having some chemical reaction? Does this mean you are warm? What’s going on???
